Using Woorank to rank your website

You are here > Home > Blog > Using Woorank to rank your website

Woorank

I found a cool utility to rank your website and create a seo report on how well you have setup your website.

The url is http://www.woorank.com/

This takes you to a nice clean page where you can insert your domain name.

The system runs a series of tests and gives you a score at the end.

I ran the process a few times and got different scores each time, so don't take it too seriously. It does give you information about your site for example:

If you are using multiple domains then it check for 301 re-directs.

  • H1 H2 heading used properly
  • Sitemap used properly
  • If you are using flash
  • Load speed
  • Used of microformats, Dublin core and Geo Meta

The list goes on.

Making changes does improve your score.

Nine9Design scored 51.7 which is above the average of 43.1.

I guess I still have some work to do.
