Teaching standards

Qualified, supported and developing

All of our teachers hold CELTA or an equivalent qualification, and several hold DELTA. We run internal workshops each term, observe lessons twice a year and fund external training, because good teaching does not stand still. New teachers are mentored for their first two terms by a member of the academic team.

  • Termly teacher development workshops for all staff
  • Two observed lessons a year with written feedback
  • Funded Cambridge and IELTS examiner training
